POLICY INITIATIVES INSTITUTE
Our organization is called the Policy Initiatives Institute. Our mission is to educate the public in a non-partisan manner about policies that affect our day-to-day lives while striving to change those lives for the better. Concurrently, we wish to guide legislators in their quest to best serve the people through proposing legislation of our own. While we are based on the East Coast, we have built an international audience and an international team with a goal to take student activism and civil discourse to a new level to ultimately change the system for the better.
YOUTH EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Youth Executive Leadership Program(YELP) is a non-profit which educates underrepresented students about leadership and public speaking skills through various workshops and projects. YELP has organized a project called "Project Inspire" which connects students from 6 different countries around the world as they submit a short story about their future lives, which will be compiled into a magazine and sold at local bookstores with the profits going to a literacy organization. GEMCO
GEMCO is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving world health and making healthcare accessible to all through advocacy, education, and direct action. We raise awareness of the issues facing the vulnerable populations pertaining to medical care in our community, and in certain areas of the world due to the limitation of their healthcare systems or lack thereof. We research and publish through social media regarding policies and events that allow inadequate healthcare systems to exist and persist. Beyond just fundraising, we want to be able to educate others on why these issues are present in society and how pressing matters such as politics or climate change affect healthcare locally and internationally.
SIGMAHACKS 2.0
SigmaHacks 2.0 is a non-profit, online hackathon open to anyone and everyone. It will be held from July 24 - 26 this summer, and we plan to host the event for over 300 participants. With the world facing an unprecedented challenge in the COVID-19 pandemic, people all around the globe have been affected like never before. We thank those on the frontlines, from doctors and nurses to sanitation workers, who are doing everything they can to keep the world running as smoothly as possible. We want to help in any way we can — which is why we’re calling on the creators, hackers, and innovators of the world to band together and help those in need. THE RISING YOUTH
The Rising Youth seeks to unite and educate the next generation of worldwide leaders through both Instagram and blog posts, which are effective platforms for modern-day teenagers.
From personal experience, I notice that many young adults are unaware and don’t genuinely care about the world around them, and as a strong believer in youth activism, I felt as if there was a need to be fulfilled: educating and involving Gen-Z.
WHAT CAUSE INSPIRES YOU
I launched the What Cause Inspires You podcast as a way for students to share the service they are doing in their communities. The podcast was initiated after my experience with cyberbullying and a want to bring awareness to the issue. As I work with more and more student-run non-profits and organizations, I am inspired by the change my own new generation is making and the impact they are leaving. The What Cause Inspires You podcast accepts exceptional and motivated youth, ages 13-21, who have gone the extra mile to make a difference in their community, whether it is collecting essentials for homeless shelters, educating about stuttering awareness and anti-bullying measures, or writing encouraging letters to mental health facilities.
WE RISE ABOVE
We Rise Above is a student-led organization in Southern California that educates the youth about sexual harassment and domestic violence. With our program being implemented in over 25 schools in LA County, WRA has educated over 10,000 students in Southern California. We have dedicated our time to fight against sexual violence by engaging in our communities through different campaigns, awareness weeks, workshops, and informational flyers, brochures, and articles. Our organization works to provide resources for survivors or any person experiencing sexual harassment, and educating and encouraging the youth to fight against sexual harassment in any institution in order to make a change for future generations.
INPSYC
Inpsyc is a fun psychology blog made to help our audience explore themselves with insightful information! We strive to create a platform that lets individuals discover and explore the most important thing in our life: ourselves!! We hope that our research and curiosity answers your burning questions or just curbs quarantine boredom!
INTERNX
InternX is a university recruiting platform for internships and full-time opportunities, that is free for students and recruiters to register and use. Students make a profile on InternX. Recruiters filter through students to find the exact, qualified candidates that they want to meet during career fairs (virtual or in-person). Students get to pick a time during the fair to meet with the recruiter that reached out to them, increasing quality connections and efficiency.
SARACTIVISM
“SARACTIVISM” is a platform that strives to educate the public (primarily the youth) about current social issues in a meaningful and interactive way, by putting out engaging, informational graphics as well as music and art that conveys their message of equality to their audience.

Currently, we are based in San Francisco, California, and are accepting applicants internationally (whether you may be interested in a Team, Editorial, or Executive Position); and although these positions are unpaid, they have benefits such as helping others while receiving volunteer hours.
GIRL BOSS
We are a leadership based podcast looking to spread motivation and empower young individuals to initiate their passions and be future leaders. We use our personal experiences to serve as a way to show how one can develop leadership skills and we use our voices to support causes through fundraising.

FOURALL Magazine is a virtual magazine (known as a “zine”) and social media platform for anyone identifying as a Gen-Z creative, artist, activist, student, and more.
HERE N QUEER
Founded in the Pacific Northwest, Here N Queer is dedicated to sharing and destigmatizing the experiences of LGBTQIA+ people. Additionally, Here N Queer spreads information about LGBTQIA+ topics in order to educate others. By partnering with people from all around the world, Here N Queer hopes to make the world a more accepting place.
