HUMAN NATURE PROJECTS

Human Nature Projects Canada is part of an international community of volunteers, striving to make positive change by empowering the community to stand in solidarity during the battle against climate change. With a core value of unity, we recognize the imperative need for change, now more than ever. We envision a world where awareness about the planet is widespread, alongside community action, and our team works to achieve the goal. Composed of passionate youth volunteers, the HNP Canada team is driven and diverse, welcoming those from every walk of life to contribute towards our mutual goal. We are of the strong belief that education is crucial among these uncertain times. Thus, one of our primary goals is to raise awareness among the community to join the initiative and be actively involved to manifest our vision.

MARINE LIFE CONSERVATION CLUB

Marine Life Conservation Club was founded by two high school students named Amy and Jamie in April of 2020. Their love for the ocean helped motivate them to start MLCC. At MLCC, they hope to raise awareness about the current situation of the marine organisms and their habitat. Currently, they are holding virtual events such as IGTV series and Q&A’s with marine biologists and enthusiasts all around the world, and are planning to hold fundraisers— all proceeds will go towards local aquariums that rehabilitate injured animals. Moreover, they post daily facts on their Instagram account, and make blog posts too! As Covid-19 starts to decline, they hope to educate in elementary schools, as well as hold regular beach cleanups. To learn more about marine plants and animals, to gain knowledge from experts and enthusiasts, and to get a deeper and better understanding of the effects of pollutants  make sure to follow @mlcc_vancouver on Instagram!
